CellStat

Resveratrol, the anti-oxidant found in red wine, is currently under investigation to become a pharmaceutical drug. CellStat, however, is Trans-Resveratrol, a much more enhanced version of Resveratrol. What appear to be reliable sources have been displaying information advising the public that Trans-Resveratrol and Resveratrol are one in the same. Those sources are quite wrong. While Trans-Resveratrol is a type of Resveratrol, the two substances are inherently different.

It has been clinically proven that there are certain grapes that, when consumed, help prevent cancer and heart disease. After taking apart (so to speak) one of these grapes, scientists found Trans-Resveratrol to be the most active compound within the grape having the ability to inhibit cancer and heart disease on it's own.

Further, according to a cancer study, Trans-Resveratrol not only prevented the initiation of cancer, but also the promotion and progression of cancer. Most recently, researchers are finding Resveratrol to be benefecial to those suffering from Diabetes. As a Chinese acadamey has shown Resveratrol to activate an enzyme that supresseses the activity of PTP1B molecules. These molecules usually work to decrease insulin activity.
